Taking small, intentional baby steps toward our dreams is literally the hardest part of the journey. It is the scarcity of failing, the embarrassment of what others will say, or the doubt they portray on our ideas. It is having big ideas with a very small budget, or lacking equipment needed to just start! Finding the courage to take that very first step is always the hardest part, and mostly because, what we really lack, is the confidence in our self and in the unknown.
All the things that stop us from taking that first step is completely relevant! Yes, that’s right, I said “relevant”! I know what it feels like to hold back and fear the unknown! I’ve been there! In fact, I am standing there with you right now! However, once you understand the significance in your lack of confidence, you become clear on your intentions. It is difficult to have confidence in a path when the details are missing, and we can’t see where we are going. When we are looking up the ladder of success and see how high the climb is, the journey seems almost unbearable and unreachable. But as the saying goes, “there is light at the end of the tunnel”. You just need to open your eyes long enough to look through a lens that allows you to see the light in the tunnel. Once you get clarity, you will experience abundance.
Clarity is Abundance
Seeing the light in the journey is not only moving you closer to your dreams but, it is actually producing bigger dreams then you imagine for yourself. When we hear people tell their story’s there is always an unexpected event that happens in their journey. There is always an unexpected event, a lesson, or sometimes a tragedy that takes them to an exciting experience. One that they never even imagined for themselves! So, we can dream as big as we want, but the journey is never going to be what we expect. That is why I always say, “Embrace the unknown and Be excited about the unexpected events”! Sometimes, being unclear is clarity and clarity is abundance. What do I mean by that?
When we Embarq on a new journey, we think we know what the results will be. But, how many times have you sat and rehearsed a speech, a business meeting, or a serious discussion you needed to have with someone? And suddenly you give that speech, go to that meeting, or have that discussion, and it didn’t even turn out the way you planned it at all! In some cases, things turn out easier, better, and more productive, and sometimes things don’t turn out so good at all. But one thing is certain, they never turn out the way we plan! In fact, life can give us curveballs and turn our world upside down in a blink of an eye! Basically, sitting around painting the perfect picture in our heads never helps in real circumstance. Truth be told, we cannot predict how others will react. Or how we will react in the moment.
So, for starters, stop trying to plan for perfection and just be excited to take any action necessary to move your life forward. Begin to move and live intentionally! Now I am not here to fill you with false hope! Not all baby steps are going to be successful in your eyes at the moment, but they are successful in helping you reach abundance. If you go into everything with an awareness of yourself and a mindset that leaves openness for opportunities to happen, then “opportunities will appear, and they will be abundantly clear”.
So, what are some simple intentional steps you can take right now to live your dream life? First, you must really want it and be excited about it! After that you can move on to these 22 intentional steps to live your dream life.
